Lease drafting service

From a Landlord’s perspective, once a deal has been agreed for a commercial premises lease, in our experience landlords look for solicitors who will proactively and commercially get the transaction through to completion by :-

  • drafting a lease in plain English to meet the landlord’s requirements
  • obtaining an acceptable lease plan if required to go with the lease
  • preparing a full contract package, including Land registry title, service charge information¬† and answers to standard commercial property enquiries to send out to the tenant’s solicitors
  • advising on proposed amendments to the lease if any
  • liaising proactively with both tenant’s solicitors, the landlord and any selling agents involved

We offer fixed fee rates for Landlords which depend on the type of property (whether shop, office, industrial unit or other) and other factors. Our charges start from £795.00 plus VAT and you receive City of London quality advice from our highly regarded commercial property team headed by James Swede.
